PNOC-EDC has recently undertaken changes in approach to geothermal development in order to achieve sustainable long term development in the face of an urgent national need for power and the location of resources remote power markets. These changes include expansion of corporate interest steam field development into power generation based on BOT and BTO commercial arrangements, commitment to large Scale development, and management of resource risk based on historical experience in reservoir management and field operations. |
