| Abstract | Nevada has seen a recent boom in geothermal exploration and development within the past five years. There are more projects under various stages of development in Nevada than in any other state in the United States, with nearly as many projects as all of the others states combined. There are currently 70 geothermal exploration projects in Nevada, in various stages of development and amount of work planned for 2011, and others that have plans but no current activity. Each of these will be briefly described here, where information is available. |
