| Abstract | In this paper we report on recent progress in the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) deployment program. We begin with a history of DOE funding support for GSHPs. We then discuss major elements of the current program, including overall public benefits. Finally we highlight features of the projects selected for awards. We conclude by discussing potential paths forward for DOE’s efforts in GSHP technology. |
