| Abstract | Equations governing two phase slug flow in large scale fracture permeability are derived. Estimates for fissure permeability, fluid capacity in the two-phase zone and the fluid flux rates entering these large scale fractures show it is possible to excite slug flows with periods and liquid volume fluxes that are characteristic of geyser activity. |
