| Abstract | Public equity funding of renewable energy almost disappeared in Q4-2008 and Q1-2009 due to the credit crisis. Private equity funding has declined as well but not as dramatically as public funding. The reasons for this decline in renewable investment and what remedies are available, are discussed. |
