| Abstract | The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (District) is the second largest publicly-owned utility in California. It is committed to meet or exceed the State’s Renewable Portfolio Standard. To this end, the District is looking to add renewable energy to its generation portfolio. In particular, geothermal energy is attractive to the District due to the resource’s high generation capacity and its proven performance. |
