| Abstract | The winter season in Mongolia is very long and cold, the outdoor minimum temperature is -35°C, the average temperature is below -25°C. There is a villa of 300m2 used SWS technology and the shallow ground geothermal energy to provide heating, cooling and domestic hot water for the rooms. In the winter of 2005, the room temperature reached 20-22°C, the hot water temperature over 65°C. There is no C2O, SO2 and NOx, and particles pollution emitted into the air during the system operation. The heating system has a Coefficient of Performance of COP = 2.77, and a renewable energy resource use ratio of ? = 63.9%. The completed project is playing an important role as a good example to spread the SWS technology in Mongolia. |
