| Abstract | One objective of this paper is to introduce the status of geothennal logging technology as experienced by developers and researchers in Japan by reviewing papers on logging published in journals on geothennal energy in Japan. The other objective is to report on the recent progress of logging technologies for the deep geothennal resources development program being conducted by New Energy and Technology Development (NEDO).
