| Abstract | This paper describes progress on a version of TOUGH2 (NACL-TOUGH) which can model the flow of non-isothermal salt-water mixtures of arbitrary concentration at geothermal conditions. The formulation given in Palliser and McKibbin (1998a,b,c), with slight modifications, is used to describe the H20 - NaCl phase space and the physical and transport properties of the fluids. Some simple examples are given where vertical 1-D columns support steady flows of water, salt and heat. |
