| Abstract | The ultra-long electromagnetic wave detecting technique, which can avoid electronic disturbance, is both easy to operate and is portable. A test at Tianjin City shows the possibility of using ultra-long electromagnetic wave detecting technique in geothermal exploration. The test results show the top of the Meso- Proterozoic Jixian System which is composed of dolomite. It is the major thermal reservoir of the Tianjin thermal field. The high wave amplitude with some "U" shape valleys may indicate the best hot water prospects. |
