| Abstract | This study forms part of a project for the development of new criteria for the gravity interpretation in geothermal exploration. It is based on data reinterpretation conducted at Los Humeros, Pue., Mexico, geothermal field. The final goal of the project is to delineate a suitable methodology for the study of new geothermal prospects in Mexico, characterized by a limited amount of available supporting information and the lack of surface evidences, usable as exploratory guides. The result in this paper concern some data processing methods and comments about the practical utility they have had in this case study. The evaluation was conducted, trying to avoid personal bias toward preexisting models if they were based on previous non verified interpretations. |
