| Abstract | The method for predicting full well output curves from only one or two measured points on the curve is reviewed. The importance of this method of accurate feed zone pressure estimates derived form drawdown relationships is discussed. Two existing relationships area examined for their inherent prediction errors. The prediction errors of the recent Iglesias/Moya geothermal inflow performance relationship are found to be significant for a case study well. The more traditional quadratic drawdown relationship is shown to be less susceptible to error, although the calculation of quadratic drawdown indices is not suitable for determining reservoir permeability. |
