| Abstract | Geothermal energy for space heating may offer attractive economic advantages for greenhouses. Masson Radium Springs Farm, the nation's second largest geothermal heated greenhouse, has been in operation for almost four years. The firm's experience with geothermal energy has been positive and has resulted in considerable cost savings. This paper includes a description of the geothermal system and the energy consumption on an annual basis. |
