| Abstract | A multipurpose geothermal wellbore simulator is presented. The computer code was set up in two versions to allow flexibility. The code enables simulation of wells with dissolved solids and gases and can allow multifeed well simulation provided adequate information on feed zones is available. The code also has other features such as simulation with heat loss and different geometry of wells with different pipe roughness. Flow regime delineation, pressure drop, and heat transfer mechanisms were modeled based on sound analytical and experimental observations wherever possible. |
