| Abstract | So far, the geothermal industry has made scant use of the inflow performance relationships. Here we present dimensionless geothermal inflow performance relationships (GIPR's) that relate mass flow rate, pressure and thermal power, for 2 phase inflow, in closed reservoirs with no recharge. Our results include the effects of unperturbed reservoir initial conditions, fluid and formation properties and history of reservoir production. Effects associated with skin, reservoir shape and dissolved gases and solids were neglected. |
