Abstract This paper discusses the geothermal aquifers in the Western Plain of Romania currently being exploited for district heating and greenhouses. These aquifers occur in porous permeable media as well as in fractured media. The interference test data and the production data for 7 years were processed, and as a result the permeability thickness product (kh) and och parameters were determined and the presence of boundaries was inferred.
