| Abstract | This paper deals with the oxygen and hydrogen isotopic composition of the thermal water and other natural waters in the Zhangzhou basin hydrothermal system. The basin is a typical fissured thermal water basin and the hydrothermal system is the highest in temperature int the granite terrain of southeastern China. Isotope data of 28 water samples are reported in this paper. On the basis of these data, problems are discussed about the local meteoric water line, the origin and the recharge area, the residence time of the thermal water and the remain factors or geochemical processes that have a strong influence on the isotopic composition of the thermal water, i.e. sea water mixing in the Zhangzhou area. |
