| Abstract | We have developed a High Temperature Borehole Scanner (HTBS) system which provided clear observation of the wall surface around the borehole at depths of up to 2,000 m and at temperatures of up to 200°C. The HTBS system provides a clearer picture than the borehole televiewer, and can operate at considerably higher temperatures than the Borehole Television Scanner (BTVS) system. |
