Abstract During the last several years, Geysers Geothermal Company (GGC) has developed ways to improve the accuracy and stability of orifice plate differential pressure measurements since they are used to calculate revenue allocations. Instrumentation and impulse tubing configurations, aimed to improve differential pressure orifice plate measurement, are discussed in this paper. The configurations that were studies include: direct coupled, diaphragm/capillary tubing system, and seal pots mounted below orifice taps.
