| Abstract | Site specific needs affect the choice of the preferred process for hydrogen sulfide abatement in geothermal power plants. Primary versus secondary abatement, total flow, H2S flow, and partitioning of H2S an ammonia are important parameters in evaluating process alternatives. Comparison conditions favoring Dow Chemical Company's GAS/SPEC* RT-2 process and the Sulferox** process and resulting economics illustrate favorable site requirements for each. |
