| Abstract | The survey area (70km2) is situated in the western section of Fukushima prefecture, in northeast Japan. There are a number o hot springs of 40-90°C such as the Nishiyama Spa including the Arayu Spa and Kaminoyu Spa, and several solfataras are also found. The area is underlain mainly be sedimentary rocks of Neogene. |
