Advanced computer control systems which provide solutions to many unique problems associated wit operating geothermal production facilities are being utilized by several resource developers in the Geysers area of California. The technology utilized by these systems has been developed an refined over a period of seven years. The features provided by these systems include automatic control of production wells, automatic control of steam delivery pressure an flow, automatic emissions control, and automatic fluid reinjection control. The systems provide economic, environmental, and safety benefits. The capabilities provided by these systems are called "Automated Geothermal Production Management." |
