A geophysical survey program was carried out by ElectroMagnetic Surveys, Inc. (EMSurvyes) for the Pit Resource Conservation District in Big Valley, near Bieber, California, during the period 3-26 August 1986. The objective of the survey was to map the subsurface electrical resistivity of the rock in order to develop an understanding of the location and extent of hot water zones. Hot water zones have been shown to exhibit characteristics of increased electrical conductivity and decreased resistivity. |
