| Abstract | New developments in abatement technology include the introduction of improved Rotary-filters to replace centrifuges for sulfur recovery in Geothermal Stretford units which dramatically reduced vanadium content in the sulfur cake for disposal. Attempts to convert this sulfur cake into saleable form of sulfur have been successfully demonstrated at NCPA. A promising low cost desulfurization technique for condensate steam was also demonstrated at NCPA. |
