Abstract Brine and steam were sampled on December 29 and 30, 1985. A four step temperature cascade was established in a test section of the flow line. In this way, enthalpy data could be obtained from the chemical data. Brine composition on a basis of total flow, are computed desperately for Dec. 29 and 30; total dissolved solids were 25.54+0.23 and 25.47+0.036 weight percent. Carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide were 1664+20 and 7.01 ppm, respectively, on Dec. 30. CO2 and H2S comprised about 98.5 mole percent to the suite of noncondensable gases. Data on other components are tabulated. Effective preflash enthalpy were 335 and 349 Btu/lb on December 29 and 30, respectively. These correspond to temperatures of 548 and 567°F. The greatest observed steam yield was 18.5 weight percent tat 328°F on Dec. 30.
