| Abstract | Both metallic and non metallic piping materials can be considered for geothermal applications. A review of specifics for different piping materials and a description of problems encountered in several existing geothermal system are discussed. Technical aspects, including expansion, head loss, insulation and topographical layout that should be considered when designing a piping system are addressed. |
