| Abstract | A short summary is given of the geothermal conditions of Hungary and a general review of the thermal water bearing formations in Hungary. We present a table on the number and total yields of thermal water wells. We are engaged in the principal type of well completion of the thermal water wells in the Pannonian basin. In some places a highly concentrated thermal water withdrawal is taking place and in these areas a pressure drop has been observed after a given production time. Finally a review is given on the utilization of geothermal energy. |
