| Abstract |
Between 1970 and 1984 the International Institute fro Geothermal Research organized 15 editions of this International Post Graduate Course in Geothermics. A total of 200 trainees from 53 countries participated in these courses, sponsored by the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and UNESCO. About 150 are now actively involved in geothermal research in various countries throughout the world. Operating since 1985, the International School of Geothermics has taken over the traditions of eth earlier course, but widened its field of activity. The school intends organizing long term courses (the first will be held from 15th November 1985 to 30th June 1986) short monographic course and seminars. |
