| Abstract | Even though Switzerland has no tradition in geothermal energy utilization the oil crisis gave impetus for potential assessment, exploration and moderate utilization. The efforts to find and develop lo enthalpy thermal water from circulation systems in fractures and (or) stratified aquifers are described. It is expected that these efforts will continue in the future, at a somewhat lower speed. |
