| Abstract | Conceptual design and cost estimates were generated for energy conversion systems used on wells into shallow magma bodies. Conventional water based, dual flash power plants that use a tube within a tube well completion were used. The preliminary results of the study indicated that the magma energy extraction is in a range (100-200 mills/kw.hr) that makes it a worthwhile energy source. |
