| Abstract | The Sante Fe Geothermal project incorporates new ideas such as a very practical 3 dimensional stress analysis, prefabricated induction bent pipe, and rotating anchors, all resulting in a reduced expansion loop requirement. The steam release rock muffler design incorporates four 14' circular, easily maintainable metal cylinders, which allow a 6500 lbm/hr/ft2 steam flow thereby reducing cost and construction area requirements. A control system monitors most of the steam field and power plant functions and controls the steam supply to the turbines. |
