| Abstract |
A summary of the existing information about laboratory measured petrophysical properties of Cerro Prieto sandstones is presented. This work includes results published previously in both the open literature and reports of more restricted circulation, and a considerable amount of our own, previously unpublished data. This paper is the only available database on the subject encompassing measurements of bulk density, porosity, permeability, compressibility, thermal expansion, thermal conductivity, sonic wave velocities, electrical resistivity, and the effects of pressure and temperature on most of these rock physical parameters. It constitutes a compact, up to date fairly comprehensive, fully referenced source of information for the geothermal community. |
