| Abstract | A net energy analysis was carried out as part of a study of the potential engineering and economic feasibility for geothermal heating and campus of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. The geothermal system design included production and disposal wells, surface facilities and retrofitting of eighteen existing buildings. For a 30 year project life, the net energy ratio was found to be about 7.1 |
