| Abstract | Many processes require the separation of a liquid from a gas or from its own vapor. While there are many different types of separators designed to accomplish this purpose, those designed to separate a liquid from its own vapor or from a gas of nearly the same molecular weight are relatively large in size requiring long fluid residence times and nearly static flow conditions to accomplish the design purpose primarily through gravitational separation of the two phases. |
