| Abstract | The geothermal industry is confronted with a number of technical, economical, environmental and political problems. A scenario of resolving most of these problems is described in this paper. It is our opinion that treating only one kind of problem should not be attempted without considering each problem as an integral part of an entire geothermal project. An overall concept to attack and/or solve most pertinent problems as a whole is described in this paper. A piece meal approach to attack various problems individually and out of context will cause further delays and economic hardship during the development of geothermal resources within the United States. |
