| Abstract | The Battelle-Northwest (BNW) developed H2S removal process has been tested at the Geysers, California to remove H2S from stacking geothermal steam. The process utilizes a catalytic oxidation reaction to convert H2S in geothermal steam to elemental sulfur and water vapor. The field test has successfully demonstrated the effectiveness of the process in removing H2S from stacking geothermal steam. |
