| Abstract | Two 10 megawatt geothermal district heating systems are being developed by Boise City and the Boise Warm Springs Water District for Boise, Idaho. These systems will provide 170°F geothermal water for space heating in the downtown and eastern portions of the City. This paper summarizes the major technical aspects of the preliminary design of the Boise geothermal district heating system. In general, the discussion also applies to the Boise Warm Springs Water District system. |
