| Abstract | This investigation considers the pressure transient analysis of wells completed in two phase geothermal reservoirs. Due to pressure reduction caused by production, boiling may take place in the reservoir resulting in concentric two phase and liquid conditions around the well. Alternatively, during injection of water into a two phase reservoir the reverse configuration may appear. This situation may be represented as a radial discontinuity in mobility and/or diffusivity may be determined in both regions and in many cases the volume and porosity of the inner region may also be calculated. |
