| Abstract | The Tongoan Geothermal Field, Leyte, Philippines is a good example of a liquid dominated geothermal system with extensive two phase conditions. This paper outlines the history of one well and a variety of test procedures including transient pressure testing methods, successfully used to identify characteristics of the reservoir and geothermal fluid adjacent to the well when flashing occurs within the rock as wall as the wellbore. The effects of an experimental injection treatment are discussed. |
