| Abstract | Intermediary Risk-Assuming Vehicles (IRACs) have generally been presented in the context of electric power generation projects. The author will outline the advances such financing approaches have encountered within the last year and discuss optimized development strategies related thereto. In addition, he will describe the first existing IRAC - Geothermal Food Processors, Inc. - and how such financing vehicles can be adapted to the direct use area of geothermal development. |
