| Abstract |
A market analysis for geothermal energy in California and Hawaii was performed with four Standard Industrial Classifications (SIC) were identified as major candidates for direct applications of geothermal energy, not including space conditioning. They are (20) Food and Kindred Products, (24) Lumber and Wood, (26) Paper and Allie Products and (28) Chemicals and Allied Products. The national market for these industrial products, based upon observations form the 1979 U.S. Industrial Outlook is discussed. |
