| Abstract | The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation funded reconnaissance mode study to evaluate geothermal sites applicable to desalination in the inland Basins of California and Nevada. On the basis of geostatistical treatment of fracture analysis, predicted reservoir characteristics, aerial photography, geochemical ratios, and geophysical criteria; two possible geothermal sites (A and B) are suggested near the Mono and Bodie KGRA's (Known Geothermal Resource Area). |
