| Abstract | Kawah Kamojang geothermal field is located in West Java, 30 km southwest of Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, at an altitude of approximately 1500 m. Climatically, the region is typically tropical with a wet monsoon season from October to April. Production drilling of ten wells started in 1976 and will be completed at the end of 1979. Feasibility study completed in 1976 summarizes the results of the field investigations, assesses the resource and outlines the preliminary design for a 30 MW station based on the data presently available. |
