| Abstract | Seismic reflection techniques, primarily the province of the petroleum industry, have recently been used in geothermal exploration to define structural controls. Improved high resolution seismic reflection techniques have yielded more consistent data in the complex geological conditions often found in geothermal systems. These techniques take advantage of new instrumentation, and modification of standard petroleum exploration techniques. |
