| Abstract | A well testing program is being conducted in the Salton Sea Geothermal Field in the vicinity of the Geothermal Loop Experimental Facility. Six well tests have been conducted as of January 15, 1978. Equipment has been developed and modified of use in the corrosive hot temperature brine environment. A computer program using superposition of analytic solutions is being developed to assist in analyzing the data. Initial results indicated than the reservoir has horizontal permeability's of 100 to 500 md while vertical permeability's across the shale layers are from 0.1 to 1.0 md. |
