| Abstract | The paper presents the adopted strategy and the perspective for forecasting the success of cost-intensive hydraulic stimulations. These models serve as basis for a further evaluation combining stochastic networks to the juvenile rock matrix. The data suggest that "focused" stimulation may have a significant advantage compared to the single well stimulation technique and may be an important step towards efficient reservoir stimulation at larger separations between wells, thus improving the economic viability and acceptance of EGS systems. |
