| Abstract | MT field survey data from the NW Sabalan geothermal field in Iran which was presented at WGC2000 have been remodelled using improved methods available today and the now known depth distribution of subsurface clays determined in three deep exploration drill holes. The results of this work are presented and discussed and these are used to refine the conceptual hydrogeological model for the field. This has focussed ongoing exploration/delineation drilling to an area of high ground to the southeast of the area drilled to date. |
